1. PURPOSE The purpose of this procedure is to define the policy, procedures, documentation and reports applicable for Change Control within the administration and management of Projects. This procedure is intended to serve as a guide to ensure effective Change Control and Cost management is carried out. 2. SCOPE This procedure shall apply to all Projects (contracts) that Downer EDI Rail is awarded and shall be maintained until the respective Project is completed and/or discharged. 3. DEFINITIONS Chief Financial Officer The person appointed to that position within Downer EDI Rail. Client The Principal party named in the contract. Department Heads Those managers within Downer EDI Rail who provide the skilled personnel to the Project Team. Projects All contracts that cover design, procurement, manufacture, testing, supply, delivery, maintenance and any other requirements expressly specified by the Client. Project Manager The person appointed into that role for the respective contract, being the person who has responsibility for any combination of engineering, design, manufacture, procurement, testing etc that forms part of the respective project. Project Team The staff appointed from core skills groups such as engineers, designers, procurement, manufacturing and testing to fill various roles as necessary for the successful execution of the Project and shall report to the Project Manager on all matters associated within the Project. 5.
