The IPEM degree provides a systematic way to study quality systems in pharmaceutical management, regulatory science, pharmaceutical science, engineering business and leadership, fields that I view as essential to producing the leaders we need to meet the new and demanding challenges of the 21st century. In fact, these are areas of study that I hope will continue to be formally built into more programs at American universities, as well. I really think this program is a model for the US and other countries around the globe.
