The experiences of the development of emerging industries both at home and abroad show that: domestic demand is the driving force for the development of emerging industries; “home market effect ” can promote the successful transformation of the existing manufacturing industry; the domestic market scale and potential bring continuous innovating and upgrading pressure to emerging industrial enterprises; the large range of industrial option can bring the advantage of standard diversity. In order to promote the development of strategic emerging industries, we should make use of the particularity of China ’s market to breakthrough the shackle of the “smiling curve ”, promote transformation of industrial policy basing on the supply, obtain the sticky information to lower the market risk of emerging industrial enterprises; prevent the erosion of for- eign direct investment on domestic market appropriately.
