Structural design on rigid-connected twin-tower of East Gate in Suzhou

Abstract :East Gate in Suzhou is an asymmetrical complicated high-rise building which is a twin-tower structure with
crossover ，transferred story and strengthened story ． The system and feature of the main structure were described ． Analysis
results of the crossover were emphatically introduced ． Strengthened design measures were put forward corresponding to
influence of slab thickness ，the control of twin-tower subsidence differences ，the prevention of the progressive collapse and
the construction process simulation ． These measures include improving the stiffness and strength of each tower and setting
proper construction process before the form of the sti
