JournalofMathematicsandSystemScience4(2014)491-497 … 州 ChirpedBrightandDarkSolitonsforNLSEwith LocalizedDissipation ShallyLoomba，HarleenKaur，RamaGupta，C．N．Kumar DepartmentofPhysics，PanjabUniversity,Chandigarh160014，India Received：April02，2014 ／Accepted：May03，2014 ／Published：July25，2014 Abstract：W ereporttheexistenceofchirpedbrightanddarksolitonsforhigherordernonlinearSchr6dingerequationinthepresence oflocalizeddissipation．Thepraameterdomainsaredelineatedinwhichthesesolitonsexist．Itisfoundthatthechirpassociatedwith eachofthesolitonpulsesisdirectlyproportionaltointensityandgetssaturatedatsomefinitevalueastheretardedtimeapproaches itsasymptoticvalue．Wefurthershow thatthehigherordernonlinearitiesinthesystem suchasself-steepeningandself-rfequency shiftdonotinfluencetheamplitudeofthesolitonpulsessignificnatlybutprimrailycontrolthestrengthofthelocalizeddissipation． Keywords：NonlinearSchr6dingerequation，chipredsolitons，localizeddissipation 1．Introduction dissipationprovidesthepossibilityofcontrollingthe phaseofBECstogeneratedifferenttypesofcoherent ThenonlinearSchr6dingerequation(NLSE)isused structures．In addition，localized dissipationhasbeen todescribethevariousnonlinearphenomenathatarise used to create desired matterwave solitonsand to in variousbranchesofscience including solid state implementtheircontrolledswitchingamongdifferent physics， optical fibers， plasma physics， fluid quantum regimes [9]．It does not only find mechanics，etc 【1，2,3，4】．Ingeneral，tostudythese
