Incidenceandmo IliittyyooffIIiivercancerIinnCChhiinnaa．．220011U0 Kuang．RongWei’XiaYu’Rong．ShouZheng，Xia．BiaoPeng。Si-WeiZhang，Ming—FangJi’ ，，， Zhi—HengLiang’ ． Zhi．XiongOu andWan—QingChen Abstract LivercancerisacommonmalignanttumorinChinaandamajorhealthconcern．Weaimedtoestimate thelivercancerincidenceandmortalityinChinain2010usinglivercancerdatafrom someChinesecancer registriesandprovidereferenceforIivercancerpreventionandtreatment．Wecollectedandevaluatedthe incidenceandmortalitydataofIivercancerin2010from 145cancerregistries，whichwereincludedinthe 2013ChineseCancerRegistryAnnuaIReport，calculatedcrude，standardized，andtruncated incidences andmortalities．andestimatednew IivercancercasesanddeathsfrOm IivercancerthroughoutChinaand indifferentregionsin2010fromChinesepracticalpopulation．Theestimatesofnew Iivercancercasesand deathswere358，840and312，432，respectively，inChinain2010．Thecrude incidence，age-standardized ratebyChinesestandardpopulation(ASRChina)，andage-standardizedratebyworldstandardpopulation (ASRworld)were27．29／100，000，21．35／10O，000，and20．87／100，000，respectively；thecrude，ASRChina， andASRworldmortalitieswere23．76／100，000，18．43／100，000，and 18．04／100，000，respectively．The incidenceandmortalitywerethehighestinwesternregions，higherinruraIareasthaninurbanareas，and higherinmalesthaninfemales．Theage-specificincidenceandmortalityofIivercancershowedarapid increasefr0m age30andpeakedatage80—84or85+．Ourresultsindicatedthatthe2010incidenceand mortalityofIivercancerinChina．especiallyinundevelopedruralareasandwesternregions，wereamong highlevelsworldwide．Thestrategyforlivercanc
