My Parents and I In this picture, a mother/father bird stays in her/his nest in a big tree, watching her/his babies flying away. According to my understanding, the mother/father bird must be very proud of her/his children, who are able to find their own food now. But she/he may also feel a sense of loss since they no longer need her/his day-to-day care as they used to. This picture shows very well the mixed feelings of parents when watching their children grow up. However, for my parents, things will be much easier, for we have different ways to keep in touch even when we are not together. For example, we have telephone conversations almost every day when we are apart. We also use the Internet as a help to get in touch with each other. We even have a family blog to post our photos, journals（日志）, and even audios(音响） that we want to share with each other no matter where we are. In this way, my parents’ “nest” will never be empty.
