ABSTRACT
NC (Numerical Control) program is one of the most efficient taches in the
CAD/CAM/CAPP system at present, it plays an important role in the accomplishment
of automatization in designing and machining, improvement of machining precision and
quality and shortening of product research period. Now, because the way that NC code
programmed by hand can not satisfy the intense demand of actual production ,in
addition, with the development of computer technology, people are prefer using
computer programming to manual ones as a results of the powerful computing and
processing ability, and then diversified auto-programming methods emerged.
Auto-programming has several advantages compared with manual-programming as
follow:① reduce the error rate of NC code and improve the work efficiency of
machine②avoid the complex mathematics calculation in manually and reduce the
difficulty of technique ③make standard rules in process technic and unify the frame of
NC code.This paper combined the actual demand of the numerical control rolling gear
machine, put forward a newly auto-programming method aim at the machining of gear.
This paper has deeply studied the structure of embedded system and NC
programming technology, and devised a new embedded auto-programming system
based on NC rolling gear machine, which used μClinux operation system as the
software core and S3C44B0 micro-control chip as the hardware kernel. At the same
time, the design theory and the construction of hardware have been introduced in detail,
