Water-assisted injection molding not only has the virtue of Gas-assisted injection molding but also has unique and significance advantages. For example, faster cycle time, thin-section, better inner surface quality and can be used to manufacture large diameter parts. Typical applications include: plate, tube and bar parts. It has wide application prospect. Water-assisted injection molding involves the dynamic interaction of two totally different materials about polymer melt and water. Water-assisted injection molding cools the material both internally by the water and externally by the metallic mold. It must have an effect on the flowing of polymer melt, material distrib ution and parts quality. These new water-related processing parameters include the amount of melt injection, melt temperature, mold temperature, water temperature and water pressure directly affect melt cooling, crystalline, material distribution and parts quality. Optimized and control these parameters have an important value on the success of water-assisted injection molding technology. According to the characteristics of the
