Study on the development elements of rural ecotourism in the view of circular economy Abstract China’s economy has developed rapidly for many years. The situation provides a good foundation for the development of tourism industry, but the problem of tourism’s sustainable developing has become the focus. The article discussed the development of rural ecotourism, and considered it should be the main part of the tourism industry in the future in China. If the development of tourism industry hurts the environment, the environment will do the same thing to it. The developing foundations of rural ecotourism are natural ecosystem and agro-ecosystem, so how to coordinate the development of rural ecotourism and the environment is important to the sustainable development of rural ecotourism. The sustainable development of rural ecotourism needs a scientific and reasonable theory to obey, and the circular economy is the best theory. The article used the circular economy as the main theory, and referenced the ecology, planning theory, entropy theory, and so on. Many study methods including analysis of reasoning, model construction, scenic spot observation and experience were used in the research of the elements of the rural ecotourism’s development. The article analyzed the main situation of the Baisha Bay scenic spot, and built the model of Baisha Bay’s circular rural ecotourism. The article is divided into three parts: The first part is consist of Chapter 1. First, the part analyzed the research background and significance, and also introduced the origin of the circular economy. The significance of the rural ecotourism’s development
