Pyrrole and glycidyl methacrylate (GM, Acros 97%) were distilled before use. Methylene chloride and N,N-dimethylformamide were dried using a commercial solvent purification system (Innovative Inc.). Styrene (Aldrich 99%) were purified by passing over basic alumina. 2,2.-Azoisobutyronitrile (AIBN) and D,L-lactide were purified by recrystallization from methanol and ethyl acetate, respectively. S-1-Dodecyl-S’-(α,α’- dimethyl-α’’-acetic acid)trithiocarbonate (TC) and 2-cyanoprop-2-yl-4- cyanodithilbenzoate (CPCDB) were synthesized according to the reported procedures, respectively.1,2 Pyrrolylmethylstyrene (PMS) was prepared as described in the literature.3 Measurements. All 1H NMR spectra were recorded on a Varian Inova-500 spectrometer (500 MHz) by using CDCl or d -DMSO as a solvent. Size Exclusion 3 6 Chromatography (SEC) data was obtained using a Viscotek’s GPCmax and TDA302 Tetradetector Array system equipped with three Olexis columns (Polymer Labs, o Varian Inc.).
