摘 要 书法艺术是中华民族最古老的艺术之一，中国传统文化的重要组成部分。它历史悠 久，源远流长，作为中国的优秀历史文化遗产，同时也被世界各国人民所喜爱。书法艺 术的传承和发展离不开书法教育，纵观中国整个书法历史，历朝历代都十分重视对书法 的教育。 文章首先分析了书法教育的历史现状以及古今书法教育的比较，指出书法基础教育 是中国书法教育存在与发展的的根基，是素质教育的重要组成部分，有着其他一般教育 无法替代的作用。接着，有探讨了书法基础教育与素质教育的关系，从中可以看出书法 基础教育可使中小学生得到全面发展，与社会|、自然和谐统一的实质。第三部分，文章 通过对书法基础教育各种功能的论述，证明了书法基础教育具有促进中小学生个体审美 意识的形成和发展、人格的完善、社会的和谐、振奋民族精神的长期作用。第四部分， 通过对书法基础教育的目的、特点、原则的阐述，最后得出了书法基础教育的内容与素 质教育的理念是基本相同的，即提高中小学生综合素质，进而提高整体国民素质，书法 基础教育在素质教育中的地位和作用极其重要的结论。 关键词：书法艺术，基础教育，素质教育，作用 IV ABSTRACT The art of calligraphy is one of the oldest art Chinese nation, is also an important part of traditional Chinese culture. As the outstanding historical cultural heritage, the art of calligraphy has a long history, and also be loved by world people. Calligraphy arts inheritance and development is inseparable from the calligraphy education, By surveying the field of Chinese calligraphy history, the past dynasties pay great attention to calligraphy education . Firstly, this article analyzes the history and status of calligraphy education, and compares the ancient calligraphy education and nowadays, pointes out that basic education of calligraphy is the foundation of Chinese calligraphy education and is the important component of quality education, has an irreplaceable role of other education. And then discusses the relationship between the basic education and quality education calligraphy, from this we can see that calligraphy basic education can make the primary and middle school students get all-round development and the harmonious and unified parenchyma between social and natural.
