Ab stract:The framew ork of a comp rehensive information m ana ement system for construction projects has been
estab lished th rou h extensive literatu re survey and field investi ations. It utilizes the potential inform ation technolo ies
and covers the practical mana ement patterns as w ell as the major aspects of construction project mana ement. The
framew ork can be used to uide and evaluate the desi n of prototype information mana ement system s for construction
projects. Besides, the sy stem so desi ned shou ld be app licab le to aw ide ran e of construction projects, and is adap table
