Senior 2 English composition writing   【中图分类号】G620   一、Introduction(概述)   The composition writing in Module 6 is a more difficult part for Senior 2 students, but according to the National New Curriculum Standard and what they have learnt, they are intended to write a composition about 120 words. This period is one of expository writing.   二、Teaching aim(教学目标)   1. Learning knowledge skills(知识与技能)   1) Learn how to express yourself.   2) Learn how to write a whole sentence.   3) Learn to write a simple poem.   4) Learn to write a short article (50 words) within a limited time.   5) Learn to write down a complete passage (120 words) according to the given material.   2. Process methods(过程与方法)   1) Say a tongue twister as fast as possible.(听与说训练)   2) Judge correct some sentences.(读训练)   3) Learn to write a simple poem.(小组写训练)   4) Understand the coherence of an article.(理解文章的上下文连贯性,小组比赛)   5) Complete a passage with the given material.(综合表达能力训练)   3. Emotional attitude value(情感态度与价值观)   1) Motivate students interest in English reading writing.   2) Improve students pair work teamwork.   3) Learn how to enjoy share an English article with others.   三、Analysis of learners characteristics(学习者特征分析)   The students are from Class 3 Senior 2. There are 57 students in the class. Their English level is higher than ordinary classes. They have learnt English for more than 5 years, so they can learn to write a fluent article with the words they have learnt. They are more motivated and active than other students.   四、Teaching strategies(教学策略)   1. Lead in (using a tongue twister to interest students).   2. Ask students to take part in pair work and group work.   3. Learn to write a simple English poem.   4. Play games.   5.
