It is a semester course, including determinants, matrices, vectors and vector spaces, linear equations, eigenvalues ??and eigenvectors, quadratic form. In this course, we mainly discuss the linear theory of finite-dimensional space, which is strong abstract and logical. Linear problem widely exists in various fields of social science such as economics and management. Some nonlinear problems can be linearied under certain conditions. Sociologists often encounter the problems that need to use computers for solving large linear equations, matrix eigenvalue and eigenvectors engineering. Therefore, the basic method described in this course is widely used in various disciplines. This course should enable students to grasp the basic theory and basic knowledge of linear algebra, to have the skills of matrix computing, and the ability to solve some practical problems with the matrix method, such that they can lay the necessary mathematical foundation to learn the successor courses and further expansion of mathematical knowledge.
