NWN NWN S A Effects of Different Drip Irrigation Methods on Cotton Nitrogen Absorption and Utilization and Yields TAO Xu ZHANG Guolong WEN Pengfei ZHANG Qiang L Xin Key Laboratory of Oasis Eco ag riculture of Xinjiang Production and Construction Crops Shihezi U niversity Shihezi Xinjiang China Abstract T his paper studied the eff ect of different irrigation and fertilization modes on cotton nitrogen absorption utilization distri bution and yields under the Variable Control Fertilization mode and the Pressure Differential Fertigation mode Plo t ex periment set different fertilization methods and irrigation f ertilization modes to measure the total nitrogen of cotton and eventually analyze co tton nitrogen absorption and utilization and yields under diff erent fertilization methods T he plant nitrogen content and nitrogen f ertilizer use efficiency of Variable Control Fertilization mode is higher than that of Pressure Diff erential Fertigation mode and the average yield of the former is higher than that of the later by T he NWN fertilization model w ith f ertilizer nitrogen at both ends of a fertilization process and irrigation in the middle onethird of the process is conducive to promote the grow th and development of cot ton reproductive organs to increase the total nitrogen amount allocated in the cotton reproductive organs to significantly improve the efficiency of nitrogen utilization to finally achieve the effect of increasing production T he f ertilization mode NWN w ith f ertil izer nitrogen at both ends of a fertilization process and irrigation in the middle one third of the
