Abstract: In 2011, China became the most active mergers and acquisitions (MA) emerging market in Asia, and MA market could be attracting attentions from all investment banks. From the development experiences of MA from international developed markets, the activity of MA is closely linked with the economical development. Using MA transactions over GDP ratio and industrial concentration as estimate standard, we forecast the future market space and development potential of China’s MA business. The forecasting results show that there is a huge improvement space for future China’s MA market, and the market scale could be in trillion RMB level.
