FuFanghuaimi decoction treatment of children due to blood-heat Psoriasis Vulgaris clinical observation and Mechanism study Speciality：Dermatology ，Surgery of TCM Auther ：Zhang Jing Tuter：Professor Geng Lidong Abstract Objective：To observe the clinical efficacy of FuFanghuaimi decoction in treatment of children with psoriasis vulgaris due to blood-heat and to investigate the possible mechanisms in the pathogenesis of PV. Methods ：60 cases of children with an unusual type of blood-heat type psoriasis patients were randomly divided into two groups,treatment group(the group of FuFanghuaimi decoction)and control group(the group of XiaoYin grain),the course of treatment was 8 weeks.Before and after the treatment, to observe two groups of patients’ the lesion area,the skin’s color,the degree of hypertrophic scaling,infiltration rate,itching condition etc the change of signs and the adverse reaction.Evaluation of its curative effect by the scores of PASI before and after the treatment. Measure the level of serum TNF-α and IL-6 before and after the treatment. Results ：The clinical cure and obvious rate was 73.33%，the effective rate was 93.33% ， the control group were 46.67% and 80.00%. As to the recrudescent rate and the side-effective rate，there were significant differences between the two groups. The level of serum TNF-α and IL-6 decreased obviously after the treatment. Conclusions：The clinical efficacy of FuFanghuaimi decoction for children with psoriasis vulgaris due to blood-heat is effective and the adverse reaction was less.
