The expression of the curative effects of cold Chinese medicine in real heat syndrome and the experiment research about the effects of rhubarb and coptis in real heat rats Speciality: Exogenous febrile disease occurrence and development regularity and prevention research Tutor: Prof. Zhang sichao Author: Dai Lu Abstract Objective: By analysing the effects of cold Chinese medicine of rhubarb and coptis to real heat rats of temperature, cold and hot tendency, independent activities, material metabolism, energy metabolism, thyroid function and cytokines activities to analyse tendency, speciality and rule of these effects. By doing these, we can provide data reference for clinical medication. Method: The effects on temperature, independent activities and cold and hot tendency in real heat rats after cold medicine administration were observed; using the methord of chemical colorimetric to detect liver glycogen, pyruvate, triglycerides, and the activities of ATPase and SDH; using Enzyme-linked immuno sorbent assay to detect T , T , TSH, TRH, 3 4 IL-1β, IL-6, IL-8, TNF-α. Results: Comparied with the rats of model group, rhubarb and coptis could significantly reduce the tempeture of real heat rats, reduce activity times, rise liver glycogen, reduce pyruvate and triglycerides, inhibit the content of ATPase and SDH, make thyroid function decreases and hold up the avtivities of cytokines. Conclusions: Cold chinese medince is useful for real heat rats’ temperature, independent activities, material metabolism, energy metabolism, thyroid function and cytokines activities.
