The exploration of the relevance between the curative effect of Du-moxibustion on AS and Infrared thermograms Speciality：Acupuncture and Moxibustion Author ：Sun Shan Tutor：Prof.Yang Jiguo Abstract Objective: Observing the clinical curative effect of treating AS by Du-moxibustion. Exploring the relevance between the thermal image and inspection item. To Lay the foundation for a more direct and simple diagnosis and effect evaluation standard by thermal image. Methods: Select 30 AS （kidney Yang deficiency ）patients who were treated by Du-moxibustion ， detect infrared thermograms,CRP,ESR.Recording the symptoms and signs to discuss the relevance between the thermography and detection items. Results: By the Du-moxibustion, the effective rate was 90%. There are significant difference （p 0.05 ）of the temperature gap ( ⊿T) between spinal area and tissues around compared with treatment before in AS patients；The temperature gap ( ⊿T) was positive correlated with the pillow wall distance （p0.05 ）and negatively correlated with the thoracic movement ；the temperature gap ( ⊿T) was positively correlated with ESR and CRP(p0.05). Conclusion: Du-moxibustion has obvious effect on AS(kidney Yang deficiency) patients. The symptoms,signs,lab index have relevance with temperature gap( ⊿T). Du-moxibustion exerts obvious influence on infrared thermograms of AS patients. The infrared thermograms should be further used in exploreing the AS diagnosis and effect evaluation standard.
