Abstract
Objective: To observe the clinical effect and study the functioning theory of Zeng
Mai Decoction in treating Sinus Bradycadia about insufficiency of the Heart qi and yang
and stasis of blood and phlegmy on the base of traditional and modern theory. Methods:
50 patients with SB were randomly divided into two groups: 25 patients in treatment group
and 25 patients in control group. The treatment group was treated with Zeng Mai
Decoction meanwhile in the control group the patients took xinbao pills. Four weeks later,
the result is observed. Results: Curative effect of the heart rate :the total effect rate of the
treatment group is 80%,in the control group ,its total effect rate is 60%.The comparison of
the two groups of the heart rate,the total effective rate has statistic significance （P ﹤0.05 ）.
It means that Zeng Mai Decoction has obvious effect on adding the heart rate (HR) ； The
comparison of Holter:the comparison of the minimum heart rate,average heart rate and
maximum heart rate of the two groups has statistic significance （P ﹤0.01 ）; Curative effect
of the clinic symptom: the total effect rate of the treatment group is 92 ％,in the control
group ,its total effect rate is 52%, the comparison of the two groups has statistic
significance （P ﹤0.05 ）.Comparison of each clinic symptom cumulative scoring:the
treatment group is better than the control group in improving shortness of
breath ,spontaneous perspiration,fatigue,lacking in strength and so on.;The compre
