从庞德的意境观看《感遇·其二》之英译 摘 要 埃兹拉·卢明斯·庞德（Ezra Loomis Pound，1885——1972），诗人、批评家、翻译理论家、翻译家，20世纪西方现代文学的主要奠基者，意象派（Imagism）诗歌的发起人，西方现代诗歌改革巨匠。在诗歌理论上，他提出了许多新颖独到的观点，这些观点对西方翻译理论产生了深远的影响。由于庞德与中国文学的关系，使之成为中外比较诗学、翻译理论中不可失的一环，成为中西文化交流的桥梁。 本文以唐代诗人张九龄的《感遇·其二》作为切入点，结合原诗所表达的意境和情思，用庞德的意象观来研究《感遇·其二》的英文译文。通过具体的对比与分析，体会该诗英译的优点，并发现其中的不足；进而，研究唐诗英译的可能性及局限性；发掘庞德意象观对唐诗英译的影响与价值。 通过用庞德意象观分析《感遇·其二》的英文译文，得出《唐诗三百首新译（许渊冲）》中的译文较好地再现了原诗所要表达的意境，秉承了庞德对诗歌翻译提出的三条标准:音乐性（Melopoeia）））ABSTRACT Ezra Loomis Pound (1885——1972), who is an American poet ,critic, translation theorist and translator; The main founder of the 20th centry mordern west literature, the intiator of the Imagism and also the great master for modern west peotry reform. Pond proposed many novel and original viewpoints in poetry translation theories, which made a great influence in western translation theories. The deep friendship between Pond and Chinese literature became an integral part both of sino-western comparative poetics and sino-western translation theories. From all of it, Pound built the bridge of interculture communication between China and western countries. This paper will firstly study the English translation of Tang poem “thoughtsⅡ”(Zhangjiuling) with the viewpoints of Pond. The scene and emotion showed in the original work will be taken as a cut-in point. The method of study in this paper are cooparation and analysis. By this way, readers can find both the advantages and disadvantages in the translation.To make a further study, this paper will discuss both the possiblities and the limits of English translation of Tang poem. And at last, this paper will focus on the influence and value that Pond brought in English-translation of Tang Poems. One of the recults of this paper is that the tranlation in “the new English-tranlation of 300 Tang Poems ( Xu Yuanchong)” did the good work among others.
