The cell po larization and p erform ance cu rve s were ob tained du ring the DM FC op eration w ith the tim e. The catalysts and N afion m emb rane of the m em b rane electrode a ssem b ly (M EA ) from the lifetim e te st were comp rehen sively ex am ined by XRD , HR TEM , FT IR and R am an sp ectro scop e techn ique s. The re su lts revealed that there wa s sign if ican t p erform ance degradation du ring the first 200 hou rs op eration; wh ile the degradation wa s slow ing down be tween 200 and 704 hou rs op eration.
