The clinical Research on the treatment of Diabetic Diarrhea by Wen Yang Tong Luo Decoction Specialty: TCM-Endocrinology Author: Wang Jinguo Tutor: Zhao Quanlin Abstract Objective: To investigate the clinical effect of Wen Yang Tong Luo Decoction in treating Diabetic Diarrhea. Methods: Those 60 Diabetic Diarrheas, who had been chosen into this clinical research, were divided into two groups at random: the treatmen group and the contrast group, each group had 30 cases. Patients of contrast group simply took the basis of modern medical treatment and western medicine Bifico only. Patients of treatment group took the Wen Yang Tong Luo Decoction，adding the basis of modern medical treatment；The therapeutic course was 8 weeks for both two groups．The first four weeks were the treatment period; the last four weeks were the follow-up period.Observing the clinical recurrence including clinical symptoms before and after the treatmeant, the relapse after the discontinuation, and the re-treatment conditions，The improvement degree of signs symptoms, for example, blood glucose, conventional faeces, and other indicators, were also monitored.And finally all-around therapeutic effect of two groups were contrasted. Results: After the investigation of 8 weeks, the resesrch showed that the treatment of integration of traditional was more effective on improving signs and symptoms of the patients and also could reduce the recurrence rate.
