As a new medical treatment, telemedical monitoring not only reduces the patients’ round-trip times and the cost for staying in hospital, but also facilitates patients to communicate with the medical staff. The traditional telemedical monitoring system is too expensive and with low transmission rate for popularization, therefore in this thesis, a telemedical monitoring system based on embedded internet technology is implemented to solve this problem. The proposed system consists of monitoring terminal and center server, which are connected by the Internet. The implementation of the monitoring terminal and the embedded internet device is the research focus.
