Section A 1a---1c 凤台县钱庙中学 武伟 Teaching Aims: 1、Knowledge and Skills: (1) Students can understand and master words about animals in English ,such as koala,tiger,elephant,panda,lion, cat, dog, giraffe, zoo, animal. (2) Students will be able to use some adjectives ,such as cute, fun, smart, kind, lazy, beautiful, scary,and friendly, to describe different animals. (3) Students will be able to use simple English to express their or other people’s favorite animals and the reason they like them . 2、Process and Methods : (1) Make full use of the tape player and pictures,creating scenarios to let students have the desire to participate in learning ,and guide students to actively participate in classroom activities, as the main body of teaching and learning. (2) Advocates the combination of autonomous learning and cooperative learning to improve the learning efficiency. (3) Help students to build their own English categories thesaurus to improve the efficiency of remembering new words. 3、Emotion Attitude and Values: (1) Let students learn about nature ,love nature, cherish all the life and establish a harmony society through learning animals. (2) Understand some country names and the related knowledge of geography, to understand foreign culture. (3) Cultivate the students’ competitive cooperation through competition and group work. Teaching Important and Difficult Points: 1、Teaching Important Points: (1) Words about animals: koala,tiger,elephant,panda,lion, cat, dog, giraffe, dolphin,penguin and so on.
