Traffic congestion is becoming more and more serious, the crash also occur frequently, causing a lot of inevitable human casualties and economic loss, in the face of this situation, design a fast response, high reliability and comparison of automotive collision warning system economy is very important. Ultrasonic ranging method is one of the most common method of distance measurement. This is the design of obstacle avoidance system of car reversing radar based on ultrasonic ranging principle. This paper elaborates on the design of ultrasonic detection based on reversing radar. The subject of the use of ultrasonic detection, single chip system design a car reversing radar, and the car and the obstacle distance with the LED real time display, while the specific distance alarm. The system consists of two parts, hardware system and software system. The hardware system using ultrasonic generating circuit drives the ultrasonic transmitting probe emitting ultrasonic signal, the ultrasonic receiving probe receiving ultrasonic signals reflected by an obstacle back, and by receiving circuit for signal conditioning, then the signal conditioning of the incoming MCU, then MCU system will signal processed is sent to the display, alarm and in the provisions of distance. Using assembly language programming software, uses the modular design thought. Through the system debugging, achieved the expected functions, meet the design requirements. Key words :Rev
