Collection is an arrangement whereby the goods are shipped and a relevant bill of exchange is drawn by the seller in the buyer, and / or shipping documents are forwarded to the seller’s bank with clear instructions for collection through one of its correspondent bank located in the domicile of the buyer. 托收是这样一种安排，即出口商在货物装运后，开出以进口商为付款人的相关汇票，将汇票和（或）运货单据连同其明确的托收指示交给出口地银行，委托出口地银行通过其在进口商所在地的往来银行向进口商收取货款。 According to the definition given in the Uniform Rules for Collections, collection means the handling by banks, on instructions received, of documents, in order to: obtain acceptance and/or, as the case may be, payment;（获得付款及/或承兑；） deliver commercial documents against acceptance or, as the case may be, against payment;（凭付款及/或承兑交出单据；） deliver documents on other terms and conditions.（以其他条款和条件交出单据。） “以其他条款和条件”常见到的是：“以交来本票/信托收据/承诺书等”。 单据指金融单据（Financial Documents)及/或商业单据（Commercial Documents) 。 金融单据指汇、本、支票或其他用于获得货币付款相似的票据。 商业单据指发票、运输单据、物权单据或其他相似单据，或不是金融单据的其他任何单据。 4.1.2 Parties to the operation of collections ①The principal 委托人(seller/exporter/drawer/consignor); The principal is usually the exporter who entrusts the collection items to the bank.
