Module 1　Deep South;晨读晚诵;Antarctica is the southernmost place on Earth,and it is larger than the United States and 98% of the surface is covered permanently in the ice cap.The ice is 5 kilometres thick in some places and it never melts.At least that is what we thought,but let us keep it that way for now.
