吉林化工学院毕业设计说明书 基于图像处理技术的车辆号牌识别系统的设计 The Design of Vehicle License Plate Recognition System Based on Image Processing Technology 学生学号： 学生姓名： 专业班级： 指导教师： 职 称： 起止日期： 吉 林 化 工 学 院 Jilin Institute of Chemical Technology摘 要 基于数字图像处理的车辆号牌识别技术是现代智能交通系统的核心技术之一。利用图像处理技术和模式识别技术，它可以对车辆信息进行有效获取，从而为车辆信息管理、调度和统计提供可靠的依据。 本文提出了一种基于数字图像处理技术的车辆号牌识别系统的设计方法，并在LabView软件平台上予以实现。在对图像处理相关理论及现有实用技术研究的基础上，本文对车辆号牌的定位、字符的分割及字符识别现有算法进行了一定的改进；提出了基于特征提取的车牌定位方法、基于投影分析与连通域分析的字符分割方法和基于模板匹配的字符识别方法。通过实验证明，利用文中所提出的方法可以对车辆号牌进行有效识别。同时，所提出的设计方案具有车牌定位快速、字符分割精确及字符识别准确的特点。 本文提出的设计方法，迎合了现代智能交通发展的需求，具有一定的应用潜力，对类似应用具有一定的参考价值。 关键词：车牌识别；图像处理；LabView Abstract Plate Recognition recognition technology is a core technology of modern intelligent transportation system which is based on digital graphic processing. It can absorb the information of a car effectively by using graphic processing technology and pattern recognition technology. So it provides reliable basis for vehicle information management, vehicle scheduling and statistics. This paper presents a design of Plate Recognition recognition system based digital graphic processing technology. And this design is successfully run on the LabView. After study on theory related graphic processing and on existing technology practical, this paper makes a improvement about existing arithmetic on the Plate Recognition positioning, characters segmentation and characters recognition; presents a way of Plate Recognition positioning based on feature extraction, characters segmentation based on projection analysis and connected-component analysis, and characters recognition based on template matching. And also, the design presented in this paper has some characters that it can position the Plate Recognition quickly, segment characters exactly, and recognize characters accurately. The design presented in this paper, cater for the development needs of modern intelligent traffic. The design has a certain applicat
