Learn to talk about some occupations. Learn the basic expressions of interviews. Focal points: 1. Train the students’ ability of listening, speaking and writing. 2. Encourage the students to have an interview 3. To train the students’ ability of writing by writing a Resume Difficult points: Finish the task of speaking How to write a Resume Procedures and Time Allotment: Step1.Greetings:(1 mins) Greeting as usual Step 2.Pre-reading (8 mins) 1. Ask questions 1what do I do? 2.what does your father /mother…do? 2. Review the words about occupations. For example, barber/ baker… Look at the pictures and describe the occupations in detail(show the pictures on the screen) Like this: A/An_______ works at/in/…______. He /She usually_______ [ 设计意图:让学生巩固职业名称。]。 Step3 While-listening (10 mins) 1. Listen to five monologues and guess the speakers occupations. Match the following pictures with the possible speakers.(show the pictures on the screen) 2. Listen to an interview at Rosy Restaurant then finish the exercises A) Answer the following questions. 1) How long did Amy work for her last boss? 2) Why did the boss ask Amy to come here late in the day? B) Listen to the interview again and decide whether the following statements are true (T) or false (F). KEYS: FTTF.
