1、教材的地位和作用
这一单元主要是围绕How often do you exercise?展开的,主要话题谈论了人们的业余活动,运动和健康是分不开的,这就为Section B提供了话题和语境,在Section A中,主要围绕How often do you …?和表示频率的副词进行操作的,这就为Section B的学习扫清了一些障碍,在Section A中,通过大量词汇和句型的学习及积累为Section B作了铺垫。
2、教学目标的确立及其依据
根据教材的编写意图和本部分的教学目的和要求,结合学生的实际水平,通过此部分的学习,应让学生达到什么样的要求,在教授知识的同时,还要贯彻“寓思想教育于语言教学之中”的教学原则,我确立了以下的教学目标:;(1)知识与技能:能听说读写exercise、hardly、ever、once、twice、time、Internet、program等8个单词;掌握,运用表示频率的词和日常交际用语:What do you usually do on weekends? I usually…… What do you do on weekends? I often / usually……和How often do you ……引导的句子及其回答I often…….
