PAGE  The Third Period The General Idea of This Period In this period, we’re going to learn the language points of the passage, I’ll explain some difficult sentences, give the usages of some useful phrases, another purpose is to enable the students to grasp the passage better. Teaching Aims 1. Discussion before reading to make students interested in traveling and the first ride on a train. 2. Fast reading to get the general idea of the text. 3.
