一、Learning Goals:
Ss learn to use new word “hate”, review phrases about chores , and grasp the differences between ”make” and “do”. Also Ss can talk about the chores they like or don’t like and say why. They learn to understand parents , share the chores at home.
二、Teaching steps :
Step1: Preview:
1、Look at P67, put the following into English orally, and then write them down without looking at the textbook.
1) 憎恶,讨厌________2) 洗衣服_________3) 做杂活 ________
2. Encourage students to write as many phrases about chores as they can.
【设计意图】培养学生养成良好的课前预习习惯,鼓励学生写出尽可能多的家务活词组,为课堂活动积累词汇基础。
Step2.Warming-up
T:Do you often do chores at home? My son often helps me do the chores. Watch the video and say the chores.
Ss say the chores.
【设计意图】通过儿子做家务的视频导入新课,激发学生学习英语的积极性,同时更直观的复习有关家务活的词组。
【使用方法】点击属性,修改路径,再单击左边控件工具箱的退出设计模式,(即单击一下左边控件工具箱的左上三角尺),就可放出视频
2. T: Can you say as many phrases about chores as you can. Try your best! (If you can ,just stand up and say them).Divide Ss into two groups , and have a match.
T: Can you translate the phrases?
Show them: do chores
洗衣服
do the dishes
整理床铺
make breakfast
叠衣服
clean the bike
打扫房间
take out the trash
拖地
Ask several Ss to translate them. Then show the answers: 干家务
do the laundry
洗餐具
make the bed
做早餐
fold the clothes
擦自行车
clean the room
倒垃圾
sweep the floor
3. Ask several Ss questions.
T: Do you make the bed every day? S1:…
T: Could you please take out the trash? S2:…
T: Could you please sweep the floor? S3:…
T: Could you please ask and answer like this:
A: Could you please…?
B: Yes, sure. / Sorry, I can’t.
Ask several pairs to present their dialogues.
【设计意图】通过开展分组竞赛,激发学生参与课堂的热情,让学生说出更多的家务活词组,为下一步谈论对家务活的看法奠定较好基础。
Step3: Lead-in
