Section 1 Before you read This activity allows students the chance to consider the importance of diet. Arrange the students in small groups. Ask them to discuss the two diets. Ask them to decide on which diet is healthier, and why. 4. Reading Strategy English can be written and spoken in many different styles. To use the correct style for any situation, we must learn it from the correct model. To speak good English, we need to read plays and novel, as these contain spoken English. To write good English, we need to learn from the style of articles in newspapers and magazines as these contain sentences Patterns and vocabulary used in written English. 三、交流 5. Section 2 While you read ?Ask students to read the discussion silently once ?Ask students what the style of the writing is. answer: a dialog\discussion ask them how they know. Divide the class into groups of three, and ask them to read the dialogue aloud three times ----changing parts each time. 6. Section 3 After you read 3a. This task identifies the key points for spoken English. ? Read out the Reading strategy for this unit.
