First of all, please let me talk about the first part——“Analysis of the teaching material”. If the students can master the lesson well, it will be very helpful for them to learn the rest of this unit. Next is about important and difficult points. The important point is how to enable Ss to master the reading skills such as scanning, judgment, and summarizing. The difficult point is how to enable Ss to use their own words to retell the text and how to express themselves using what they have learnt in the reading passage. 二、Now , I want to tell you something about the Ss. After learning English for several years, the Ss have already learned some basic English background knowledge. You know, they are young, active and interested in the new things.
