Date: Reports to: Quality Manager Pay Grade: Department: Operation Position Summary: This position is focus on the process control and process quality improvement. Implement and monitor the corporate quality requirements in the shop floor. Product and process issue resolution and implement/monitoring the statistical process control. Purpose: The purpose of this job description is to reflect consistency of positions throughout the corporation; capture all relevant education, training, skills and experience; and determine the necessary competence for the personnel performing work affecting product quality. Supervises: Preferred Education and Experience: Bachelors of Science in Engineering or Related Field. GDT proficiency, good understanding of tolerance stack-up and measurements. Good mathematical and analytical ability. Good understanding quality tools DOE, FMEA, MSA, SPC Experienced in TS16949 requirements, Lead internal auditor. Duties include, but not limited to, the following: Process and product quality improvements Review and analysis the production data SPC/CPK/Scrap etc. to find the opportunities to improve. Facilitate the development of continuous improvement activities that result in the improvement of product quality, process control and/or a reduction in product or process costs. Take charge or assist production team to resolve the product and process quality issue. Lead or participate in the problem solving activities to drive permananent corrective actions. Regular review and update the Process FMEA to standardize the best proctice and find potencial risk. Follow up the actions and effectiveness for the top risk failure mode. Work with production team and programme QE to resolve the safe launch issue to exit programme safe launch
