一．课文分析 (Lesson Analysis)
（一）课文地位（Lesson Position）
1 本课的主要内容是简单谈论有关地球和太空的知识。既是六年级第二学期第三单元也是本单元谈论天气和季节等内容的延伸。由于科学方面的内容需要一定的词汇量，教师应该把握好内容的难易度，多用图片的方式来引导。
2 分数的表示方法是一个新的语法内容。学生很容易出错误，教师应在做一些机械性的训练的同时，设计一些场景如知识竞赛等的方式，让学生来参与。
3 本课的语言功能主要是评价和赞赏的表达。以往的课文中也经常出现，诸如good, very good right等，在教学上可以通过以旧带新的方式让学生学习新的知识。
4 本课Reading相对比较长，建议多用图片来进行讲解。
