Part1 The?Analysis?of?the?Material Status?and?Function: The title of the reading is First Impression, which plays a very important part in English teaching of this?unit.?This?passage?is a spacemail written by Li Qiang about his exciting and unforgettable tour in the year AD3008. By learning this lesson, the students can not only imagine what the future will be like, but also learn how to use some important words, phrase and sentence patterns. What’s more, the students can practice their reading skills, such as skimming, scanning and careful reading. 2.
