In light of this, the thesis intends to take an in-depth look at the current situation of teacher-student interaction in English class and puts forward four strategies to promote it: building up relaxed learning atmosphere, improving questioning skills, providing incomprehensible materials and maintaining teacher-students rapport. The study is expected to arouse teachers’ awareness of teacher-student interaction in English teaching, and contribute a bit to teaching reforms in China.
