Presentation and practice t Scene: In Monkey’s Birthday Party Watch and catch: Who came to the party? Procedure: in monkey’s birthday party, they are singing a birthday song. The class listen or sing with it and guess who comes to the party according to the noise made by the animals or the shade of them. Use a table of food to present the food for them. Procedure: Listen to a introduction. Eg.揑 am Tiger. I like chicken. I amn…I like…攖o give a total presentation of the new words. Look at the picture of food and learn: chicken, beef, meat, pear, bamboo. Procedure: A. Let the pupils act like some animals. T: e“Panda, panda. What do you eat”, the pupil picks out the right picture. Then the teacher teaches the words by the aid of the pictures, body language, or the courseware using the drills “ Hello/Good morning…, what do you eat” . B. The pupils activities: act like animals—follow the teacher—read one by one/group by group/pairs by pairs in going on a race. Game 1: Put the right food under the right animal. Then say after the teacher.. e.g. Tiger, tiger. What do you eat? Chicken. Procedure. T/C/S: Tiger, tiger. What do you eat The teacher shows a picture of food C/S: Chicken. The picked out student put the right food under the right picture. 6 Game 2: Stand up and say. class . Procedure: The teacher acts like the monkey, carrying a “birthday cake” there is a lot of food on it arround the classroom. T
