S：I don’ t think so.Actually I am almost 40 now.I have been doing journalistic work for about 17 years and I still don’t feel like slowing down. Y：Don’t you think the job is physically tough? S：It is.Sometimes you have to carry the camera，and walk with it for miles.Basically，it is a kind of job that requires passion (激情) and I don’t believe I will lose my enthusiasm even when I am 50 or 60 years old.I like this job. Y：How do you react to negative responses (反应)? S：Sometimes I just laugh，and sometimes I really take some of the criticisms (批评) personally. Y：Can you give us some examples? S：Sometimes the viewers say that I have made some serious mistakes.For example，two years ago，when I was doing a live report，I said，“We are now looking at the capital of New Zealand，Ottawa.” Y：Was it a slip of the tongue (口误) ? S：Yes，but still it was a mistake.Many people called me，saying that “we cannot forgive you for that bad mistake，because you are representing us.” Y：How did you respond to that? S：I apologized.I didn’t say anything to defend myself.But it was a good lesson for me.After that I have been very careful，trying to avoid making mistakes like that.
