English self-learning diagnostic and feasibility analysis As English learners, the first thing we should know at the beginning of our study is understand clearly why we are here to study this language. Some studens say that to understand those movies and songs they like better. This kind of motivation is quite common, and their motivation is also an effective way to learn English well. However, some of English learners’ aim of learning English lies in their interest in the culture of English-speaking countries. The mastery of English is a tool to understand these cultures deeply. Meanwile, there are a lot of people hold a hope to learn English that it can help them gain a better job. This kind of opinion is more practical. However, to these students,learning English maybe pretty boring. As for me, I should say English movies develop my interest in English study, and I also plan to be an interprator in the future. Although, this job is a little bit hard for me now, I will try my best to make my dream come ture. With interest in learning English, our study will not be very hard. Hovere, it is a kind of pain to learn English when there is not much interest. Then, what should be done first is developing interest. And it’s not very difficult. We may have the feeling of satisfaction and achievement from our English study when we are able to say something simple in English, talk with others or foreigners in English and act as others interpreters. Then the satisfaction and achievement will be the motivition of english study. Now, I want to talk about my views and my own ways corncerning English learning. I am an English major and what I learn in our class is English. In my opinion, the learning by myself after classes is more of importance than just listen to teachers in class. Because of the limit of time, all of what we learn in class from our techers can be difficultly understund and memoried efficiently. So learning by ourselves after classes play an important role
