《》课程编号： 课程名称：Basic Biology 学分：学时： This course includes the following basic concepts: biochemistry, bioenergetics, cell biology, the origin and evolution of life, plant biology, animal biology, and environment and ecology. It is concerned with the characteristics, classification, and behaviors of organisms, how species come into existence, and the interactions they have with each other and with the environment. This course provides students with the chemical composition of life, biological characteristics and behavior of cells, how biological energy is generated and used, structure and function of advanced plants and animals, biological classification, origin and evolution of life, biological groups and biodiversity conservation, and also biology and environment and so on. A systematic introduction to the major branch of general biology is supplied to our students, with reflecting in time the latest achievements and developments in biology field. Basic Biology is suitable for students in science and in engineering subjects to understand the basic learning and knowledge.
