【教材分析】
这篇课文是外研社(一起)小学五年级下册Module 6 Unit 1的教学内容,主要是复习巩固以前学过的一般将来时,并结合学习西方文化,达到能谈论自己的旅行。
【学生分析】
本节课的授课对象是小学五年级的学生,他们已经学习了四年半的英语,对英语学习有一定的兴趣,有一定的英语语感,也形成了学习英语的一些好习惯,但还不能将所学准确运用到实际生活中,因此需要课上课下多练习。这一年龄阶段的孩子好胜心强,集体荣誉感也强,因此本节课采用任务型教学,小组合作,设计游戏、歌谣等教学方法,吸引学生注意,提高学习英语的热情。
【教学目标】
A. 语言知识目标:掌握四会单词:place, circle, build, solve, hope ; 能朗读、使用What will we see there? We’ll see lots of very big stones. How will we get there? By car . It will take three hours.
B. 技能目标:能够用一般将来时讨论自己的旅行;能把所学的语言在实际生活中正确运用。
C. 情感态度目标:能对西方文化感兴趣;鼓励学生了解名胜,热爱祖国。
【教学重点】
能运用四会单词、能对核心语句What will we see there? How will we get there ? 问答。
【教学难点】
在实际中正确运用核心语句。

【教学过程】
Ⅰ. Warmer
Greeting.
Singing. The more we get together
Free talk.
T: What did you do last weekend ?
S: I went to the park. / I did my homework…
T: What will you do this Sunday?
S: I will go to the zoo. / I will help my mum…
Ⅱ. Presentation
Today we will learn Module 6 Unit 1"We’ll see lots of stones." but first let’s go to a very old place. (PPT出示巨石阵的图片,通过图片新授单词)
place Benxi is a beautiful place. Huanren is also a beautiful place.
circle in a circle (找四位同学到前面手拉手T: This is a circle.师生对接单词字母语发音。T: cir Ss: C-I-R…)
build It’s got a brother called "built"build – built(大、小声游戏)
T: People built our school years ago.
T: People built the Great Wall many years ago.
solve T: You can solve the mystery. (引出词组solve the mystery)
solve the mystery (Once twice silent)
hope I hope so.(T:This morning my mother phoned me. She said next months we’ll have three days off. I said I hope so.)
2. Choose and guess. Put the letters in right order.
充分运用多媒体的直观性,将本课要用到的交通工具作为PPT 背景,请学生选择 bus/ car/train 等等来猜单词,用爆炸图形吸引学生注意力,激发学生学习兴趣。(T: Please put the letters in right order. I will give you 1 minute to do.)
3. T: This weekend I will to Benxi Zoo. Will you go with me?
S: Yes.
T: What will we see there ? 出示PPT(出示PPT之前板书What will we see there?)
