In the first part, it explains investment profit through the definition, calculation and application of expectations from the probability and statistics theories, and gives a further related explanation by some examples of this problem. In the second part, firstly, use the variance in probability and statistics theories to calculate the investment risk from two situations: when it obeys the normal distribution and random distribution .Then analyzes the connections between investment profit and investment risk, how changes the connections between investment risk and investment profit. Finally it gives some examples to calculate investment risk and its related problems.
