Shakespeare and Hamlet Shuo Cao Playwright, Poet, Actor Owner of theatres. Born to a middle class glove- maker’s family in Stratford- upon-Avon, a small town to the northwest of London. Attended the local grammar school and learned “little Latin and less Greek”. Stratford-Upon-Avon  Married at the age of 18 to a woman . Fled to London in 1584 and performed various mean jobs there. Started to work as an actor and playwright at around 1590.
