近年國內外翻譯學研究之趨勢與研究方法比較 Research Trend and Methods in Translation Studies: A Comparison between Taiwanese and International Publications 藍月素 助理教授 Lan, Yu-Su, Assistant Professor tschuel@mail.cjcu.edu.tw 董大暉 助理教授 Dong Da-hui, Assistant Professor dongdahui@mail.cjcu.edu.tw 邱東龍 講師 Andrew Chiu, lecturer achiu@mail.cjcu.edu.tw 長榮大學翻譯學系 Department of Translation and Interpretation Studies Chang Jung Christian University 補充說明 本論文已作wording 及部分敘述上的修改，其餘與刊登在嘉義大學外國語言學系Proceedings of 2008 International Conference of Applied Linguistics ICAL 的版本無異。 近年國內外翻譯學研究之趨勢與研究方法比較 台灣的翻譯學研究在質與量上雖逐年提升，翻譯學成為一門獨立的學科之身分仍未明確；如何開拓國內翻譯學研究的領域與研究方法的認知，以促進翻譯學的學科發展和強化翻譯學界研究能量，進而推動翻譯學邁向獨立學科之路，應是當務之急。 於此，本論文建立國內、外翻譯領域從2002初-2008等六年之論文摘要資料庫各一個；國外部分選定五種翻譯領域知名期刊，國內部分因考慮到論文數量，故資料庫除包括國內翻譯相關碩博士論文摘要外，也納集同期內在「翻譯學研究集刊」、「國立編譯館館刊」/「編譯論叢」、「中外文學」等期刊發表的翻譯相關論文摘要。一方面利用文本分析軟體Wordsmith之關鍵字分析與統計分析軟體SPSS之回應分析 Correspondence Analysis 對上述摘要進行分析、比較，以探討國內外翻譯相關研究領域方向之異同；另方面利用人工方式，按照我們定義的類別對論文作分類及比對分析，以期得知研究方法之類別與偏好。 將國內與國際翻譯研究趨勢與研究方法兩相對照比較，以披露出中外的研究之重點與偏好，以及研究方法上的類別差異，不僅能對國內未來研究方向有所啟示，亦能對翻譯研究教學形成省思、回饋的作用。 關鍵詞：論文摘要資料庫；翻譯研究領域；翻譯研究方法；翻譯研究教學 Research Trend and Methods in Translation Studies: A Comparison between Taiwanese and International Publications Though translation studies in Taiwan has improved qualitatively and quantitatively, it still has a long way to go before becoming a widely accepted academic discipline. One of the core tasks to achieve this goal is to constantly broaden the research areas and explore possible research methods in translation studies. This study will first build two reference collections: one of abstracts of papers published in five renowned international translation studies journals between early 2002 and 2008, and the other, abstracts of papers published in Taiwanese journals over about the same period.
