Introduction of Romanticism Pre-romanticism Romanticism William Wordsworth 1.Pre-Romanticism in Poetry Pre-Romanticism arose in the latter half of the 18th century ,marked by a strong protest against bondage of classicism and by a recognition of the claims of passion and emotion.
