Retirement Rights and Benefits for Certified Research Fellows and Research Specialists Domestic Staff Foreign Staff Notes Regulations Applied Statute Governing the Retirement of School Faculty and Staff Statute Governing the Retirement of School Faculty and Staff Retirement Requirement 1 Staff under any of the following conditions may apply for voluntary retirement: 1. who has served for at least 5 years and has reached the age of 60. 2. who has served for over 25 years. 2 Staff under any of the following conditions shall retire: 1. who has served for at least 5 years and has reached the age of 65. 2. who is mentally incapacitated or physically disabled to the extent not capable of delivering services. Same as those for domestic staff In accordance with Article 20 of the Statue, the retirement of foreign staff may be subject to this Statute, but the pension to the same shall be made in lump sum payment. Retirement Pension Payment 1 Lump sum pension payment to those who have served for over 5 years but less than 15 years. 2 One who has served for over 15 years may collect his/her pension in any of the following fashions:1. Lump sum payment;2. Monthly installments; 3.Combination of lump sum payment and monthly installments; 3 Those who meet the retirement requirements and have served for over 15 years may choose to collect monthly installments or combination of lump sum payment and monthly installments The pension shall be made in lump sum payment.
